it’s crazy to think that i’ve called this place home since january… i’m staring out the window as the sun’s going down, dark ominous clouds hiding the clear blue sky in between the mustard color buildings that surround my apartment. i’m going to miss this city. last night i went for a walk in a park that overlooks the city. i finished a photography project i’ve been working on – platinum-palladium prints corresponding to james joyce poem “at that hour.” also starting the process of figuring how i managed to get everything i brought in the suitcase in january… i hope i manage to get it all back in.

i leave on a 6am flight thursday morning and i’ll be back in the sunshine state before the sun sets…i go to pick up joe as he get off the plane from cuba the middle of may and cruise back up the florida coast. then i start real life when i take photos and posters down and move out of the room i’ve had for 20 years in gainesville and move into an apartment in dc… so it goes.
